Deep in the heart of the NSW outback are two towns with an incredibly rich history and breathtaking scenery. We’re lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Bourke and Brewarrina on charter flights in our Beechcraft King Air B200 – the perfect aircraft for showing up to 9 passengers the ultimate outback retreat…
With it’s heritage dating back hundreds of thousands of years, Brewarrina is home to the worlds oldest man made structure – the Fish Traps on the Barwon River. We learned that fact from the incredible Brewarrina Museum on a recent tour there while on charter with some VIP’s doing some amazing work with Aboriginal Health Clinics, over 2 days in the area.
Flying from our flight lounge at Sydney’s Bankstown Airport; ‘Bre’ as it’s know by the locals takes you right over Dubbo (perfect for a pickup) and takes around 1hr 30min. We can stay on the ground in Bre for up to 2 days, or if your business requires a few stops in nearby regional hubs like Bourke, Walgett, Lightning Ridge – we can do that!
Talk to one of our charter specialists today about your travel plans – they looooooove putting together the perfect itinerary to suit you and your business plans. You can get in touch right here, or click on ‘get a quote’ in the menu above
Oh, and if you’re looking for somewhere incredible to stay? Beds on the Barwon has 4 gorgeous luxury self contained apartments right on the Barwon River. That’s where the footage above was filmed, while we sat in front of the open fire on a cruisy spring-time afternoon. Grant & Mel the owners cook up an amazing dinner on request, and have built the Ultimate Bush Retreat up there in Bre! Make sure to book early though – there’s only 4 apartments.
