Cessna Citation CJ2
Whether you choose to fly for business or pleasure, the Citation Jet (CJ) is a private jet offering the perfect blend of performance, luxury and economy for up to seven passengers.
The Cessna CJ series (CJ, CJ2, CJ3, CJ3+, CJ4) has continued through several iterations, with varying cabin lengths, engines and avionics packages throughout the years, one thing however has remained the same – the CJ is one of the most versatile private jets flying today.
Ideal for short to medium length journeys with 4-6 passengers, the Cessna CJ can be flown by a single pilot to any sealed airstrip in the country, in most cases direct, and still retains the ability to land at major airports like Sydney International.
Each aircraft’s interior is elegantly appointed in light grey or cream leather with seating arranged in a club style. Fold out business tables are located on the left and right hand sides of the aircraft, and refreshments are self-served from a forward galley. Tea/coffee making facilities, cool drinks and snacks are included on board every flight.
Cessna Aircraft Company, was an American general aviation aircraft manufacturing corporation headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. Best known for small, piston-powered aircraft, Cessna also produced business jets. For many years the company was one of the highest-volume producers of general aviation aircraft in the world.
Founded in 1927, it was purchased by General Dynamics in 1985, then by Textron, Inc. in 1992. In March 2014, when Textron purchased the Beechcraft and Hawker Aircraft Businesses, Cessna ceased operations as a subsidiary company and joined the others as one of the three distinct brands produced by Textron Aviation.
